A
SIX-YEAR-OLD boy has been left with
gaping wounds and needing 39
stitches in his face after he was
savaged by a dog.
Connor Tollerfield may be scarred
for life after the terrifying attack
from a bullmastiff called Samson.
The young boy was waiting at the
door of a neighbour's house when
Samson struck and started to bite
his face.
His mother today told how her son's
face was stitched back together by
doctors after the ordeal.
Mum Angela, of Windsor Quay, Cardiff
Bay, said: "It was so horrific. He
could have been killed."
Two neighbours struggled to get the
animal off Connor and he was taken
to hospital after the attack last
Friday.
"He keeps asking to look at his face
all the time. He said to me 'why did
he do this to me? When we go past
the house he asks me to carry him,"
said Angela.
Samson does not have to be destroyed
because he was on his own property.
The dog's owner has been reported
for summons. |
