Bangkok - Two dogs attacked and killed a
disabled Thai women who was in the habit of
hitting them with a stick, media reports
said Wednesday. Tun Chomchuen, 45, was found
dead Tuesday with the skin stripped off her
face and head after being attacked by two
Bang Kaew dogs, a Thai breed, at a horse
farm in Buddhamondhol district on Nakorn
Pathom province, 60 kilometres west of
Bangkok.
Tun's husband, Shen Inkong, revealed that
his wife, disabled in the right arm, was in
the habit of hitting the dogs.
"I never imagined this would happen but my
wife usually carried around a stick and hit
these dogs," Shen told The Nation newspaper.
He speculated that the attack might have
been prompted by some pork ribs his wife was
carrying.
The Bang Kaew dog breed, from Phitsanulok
province, are famed in Thailand for their
fierceness and devotion to their masters.

estate of a deceased Bullskin Township woman
to pay for injuries and post-traumatic
stress inflicted to their 5-year-old son
when the woman's poodle allegedly attacked
him.
Timothy and Jennifer Kitchen complained that
their neighbor's poodle attacked and
seriously injured their son. |
Dog attacks 7-year-old boy at
Joliet bus stop
November 9, 2007
JOLIET -- A 7-year-old boy needed nine
stitches in his face after he was attacked
by a dog at his bus stop. The attack
occurred at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday as the boy
stood at Garnsey Avenue and Ohio Street. A
dog reportedly ran from a house in the 500
block of Garnsey Avenue and bit the boy in
the face. The boy's mother called
police, who contacted Will County Animal
Control. Officers were unable to speak to
the dog's owner and no tickets were issued.
The boy was treated at Provena Saint Joseph
Medical Center, where he received five
stitches on his cheek and four in his mouth,
the police report said. A spokesman
for animal control authorities, which police
say would make decisions about whether to
impound the dog, could not be reached for
comment Thursday. |

Rodgers was flagged down Friday in the 100
block of South Florence Street by a woman
who stated she came home to find that her
small dog had been brutally attacked by a
neighbors’ German Shepherd.
Rodgers’ report said she found the injured
poodle laying on the front porch behind some
children’s toys. The front porch had
indications that the attack had happened on
the front porch. She also told Rodgers that
neighborhood children are allowed to come
into her hard to retrieve their Frisbee and
believed that the dog followed a child into
the yard and made the attack. She carried
the poodle to the vet, for a total bill of
