Laws
require large breeds such as
rottweilers, German shepherds and
bull terriers to be leashed and
muzzled in public.
THE AVA wants
to ban the import of three working
breeds: Perro De Presa Canario, Cane
Corso and Dogue De Bourdeaux. There
are already 44 dogs from these
breeds registered here.
After a
series of attacks they are now
looking to further regulate Rotties.

Dubai is a part of the United
Arab Emirates which on the Arabian
Peninsula on the Persian Gulf -
Breeds of dogs now branded as
dangerous include the American Pit
Bull Terrier, the Rottweiler, the
Doberman and the Husky - as well as
12 other breeds. A directive issued
by Dubai Municipality stated: “As
part of the public health
departments responsibilities in
preserving public health and safety
and in order to protect members of
the public from animal related
diseases the presence of the
following breeds of dogs… is
prohibited in residential areas,
public places, market and shopping
centres, as they pose a threat to
society.”
