Yes,
he wandered away from his home
unnoticed by his parent into
someones backyard and approached
a chained dog.
<<The
victim suffered serious injuries
over 70 bites,>> As do
many other breeds Just in the
past few weeks we hve had
incidents such as the Alaskan
Malamute that fatall attacked a
young girl in Denver this
weekend, Two Siberian Husky's
that killed a child in
Warterford Michigan the day
before the Denver incident, A
Belgian Malanois polices dog
fired for to many attacks
without command, another
Malinois (retired police
K9)attacked a neighbor and put
him in the hospital in critical
condition, A Labrador Retriever
and Dachshund viciously attacked
an elderly woman, A German
Sheperd viciously attacked an
elderly woman, Briard killed a
child, Asian Jindo attacks
woman, Dalamation attacks postal
carrier for 2nd time, Police dog
German shepard attacked a woman,
Dalmation bit a jogger, etc etc
etc.
The
one thing your city has never
done is research the facts. You
take dog bite reports for fact
when even the American Vetrinary
Medical Associatoin states they
are fiction and tells you
several reasons as to why they
are fiction. NO dog bite
reports consider population as a
factor when it is clearly the
most important when looking at
any crime, dog bite, murder, car
accidents,etc.
15
attacks by pit bulls in Denver
with a pit bull population of
10000 has a different risk
factor than 10 bites by a
Doberman in Denver with a
Doberman population of 1000.
While on a dog bite report the
Pit bull would certainly appear
to be at the top of the list,
BUT when you look at the
population factor the Doberman
in this example would be a far
great risk to the community.
Also
the fact that pit bull isn't a
breed but a term to group 3
breeds. Why is it that dog bite
reports always say pit bull and
group all 3 together? Of course
the numbers are higher it
represents 3 breeds. You never
see "retriever" where the
different breeds likes Goldens,
Labradors and Chessepeakes are
all grouped on one line, guess
what their numbers would be
higher!
Elbert county, the owner
shouldn't have been allowed to
own dogs. She was convicted of
neglect, abuse and cruelty. The
point in that case I would
stress is the Sheriff was
quoted as saying that they had
reports of these dogs roaming
free and biting people for the
past several months. Had they done there job that woman would
still be alive.
Do
they know than fixed pit bull
has never been involved in fatal
attack? Why is it all the
major canine orgs say bsl
doesn't work, that it's an owner
problem?
